For the Greater Glory of God

We are blessed to have a new deacon in service to our parish and to the greater Church.  We know that in the Acts of the Apostles that deacons were called forth from the community of believers to assist in works of charity, especially towards the widows and orphans.  With the other 16 deacon couples ordained today on the Feast of SS Peter and Paul, our people will be served well. The saints that we honor today lived lives in service to Christ and His church; through their intercession may our deacon couples be zealous bearers of the Gospel through their lives of service to God's people today.  Multos Annos!
